Iram Reyes

Iram Reyes is a trumpet player and mixing engineer with nearly two decades of experience working professionally in the Austin area.

As a band leader, Reyes has been able to compose, manage and promote the band Ex Romantika. The band released their first full-length album in 2020 entitled Latin Funk Konnection. The music video to their song Grand Candela was featured on NPR's All Songs Considered The Best 2020 Tiny Desk Contest Entries We Saw This Week: Volume 4. This song was written as a tribute to the victims of the mass shooting that occurred in El Paso.

Reyes recently started his new venture as a freelance producer and mixing engineer. In the spring of 2023, Reyes released his first full-length album which featured many prominent artists such as Daniel Fears, JaRon Marshall, Jake Lloyd, Mike Melinoe, Tribe Mafia and many others. Within the film industry, Reyes has also served as a music producer for an Austin PBS Original entitled, Taco Mafia. In addition, Reyes’ collaborations with musicians and producers such as CHR0N!AC, has led him to record trumpet for several sample packs including one for Splice.

Band Hombre Studios

Bad Hombre Studios is a hybrid home studio that is owned and operated by Iram Reyes. This hybrid studio setup makes use of both analog processors and software plugins for both recording and mixing.
